Rebuilding Hope: Two Homes for Flood-Affected Families
When Hurricane Helene's floodwaters surged through Hamilton, Tennessee, dozens of families watched as their homes were swept away or rendered uninhabitable. While many families have found temporary solutions, we're committed to providing permanent homes for two families who lost everything in this natural disaster.
Our dedicated team of community volunteers is committed to building two 3-bedroom, 2 bath homes. These houses will be more than just buildings – they'll be the foundation for two families to restart their lives, create new memories, and rebuild their sense of community.
Every dollar you contribute goes directly to construction materials. Each home requires $80,000 in materials costs, bringing our total fundraising goal to $160,000. Thanks to our skilled volunteers donating their time and expertise, labor costs will be greatly reduced.
Here's what your donation provides:
$1,000 helps purchase windows for a bedroom
$5,000 covers essential electrical materials
$10,000 funds the entire roofing system
$25,000 provides all lumber and structural materials
